Legal aspects of the specification
i. On each page of specification, both the parties i.e. owner and contractor, should sign so that it will be binding on both the parties.
ii. If any disputes arise between the parties, the specification will help the arbitrator or the court to settle the disputes.
iii. The specification also mentions the mode of measurements, quality and procedure of item. So it is binding on both the parties to adhere to it.
iv. The general character and the scope of the work is illustrated and defined by the specifications and signed by both the parties. So it becomes a legal binding.
