Health aspect of bio- medical waste during handling

1) There is skin and blood infection caused with direct contact or handling.

2) There is eye infections caused by the exposure to infected dust; especially during land fill operation.

3) There are intestinal infections which are transmitted by flies feeding on the waste.

4) Increase in hospitalization of diabetic residents living near hazard waste sites.
